Great camping chair. I am 265lbs and six feet tall so it works great for me. Great product.

So I bought this stool to bring with me to Disneyland so that I could avoid pain by sitting whilst waiting in line. I've seen the odd YouTube video of someone bringing a portal seat in with them (not this one, but other more compact stools) so I figured I'd do the same, sounds genius. Well, because of how long it is (and maybe how heavy?) stools like this are on the Disney restricted list and I had to give Disney my brand new stool, never to be seen again. SO, the seat was comfy, it was sturdy, it was a great height so I (5'4") didn't feel like I was squatting when I sat on it.. all of 1 time... but alas, it was confiscated because it's on the restricted list at Disney, which is sad. I really wanted to use it on more than one occasion but now I have to buy another one. This is not the fault of the company, so they get full stars for quality, comfort, and speed of delivery.

I was really unsure what I wanted when I ordered this. I have back problems and always have a hard time when I'm out in groups and people stop to talk. When I'm walking, I'm fine. But standing for any length of time is painful. I wanted a portable chair that wasn't uncomfortable to carry around, but would allow me to quickly sit my butt down when we were at street fairs, concerts, parks or protests. This turned out to be exactly what I needed. It is extremely light weight. You can carry it in your hand, or over your shoulder with the strap. It's easy to throw down and sit on in seconds. It's small and unassuming, so you don't feel like some TRAGIC disabled person, even if you are, hahaha. This is my second purchase, because I found that I use it around the house A LOT, for crafting, home projects, painting, organizing cupboards and in the pantry. I also use it as a step stool, although I don't recommend it unless you have very good balance. I'm buying 2 more so that I can keep one in my car and have a back up since I lose things easily. I've found nothing negative yet and I've had my first one for a year now.

I have this chair hanging on my front door. I am able to grab this when I take the dog out to the back of the property to do his business and play. He and I can also walk over to the creek, him running in and out of the water up and down the bank acting a fool.....me, sitting like the sloth I am in this chair, reading my phone and waiting for him to wear himself out. No haters please - I spoil this dog ALL the time and he isn't even mine. This chair is super lightweight - no worries.

I love this little stool. I can't stand for long periods of time and in the past wouldn't go to events or places where there often was nowhere to sit. This has helped me regain some freedom of being able to go to fun places with my grandson. It's lightweight, and fairly easy to carry around. The one thing I would change if I could would be a longer, adjustable carrying strap that would allow me to carry it over my body on my back. Would make it easier and more comfortable to carry around, otherwise, it's the perfect little tripod seat to take along to places that don't have seating.

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a small chair/stool that is compact when folded (for traveling purposes) but is also comfortable enough to sit in for long periods of time. Also, this slacker "chair" takes up very little room when being sat on, compared to a big, full sized chair. When folded, the size is like a large tripod and weighs very little. It's high enough off the ground but not too high where you can feel any strain on your feet, legs, or back. The only thing that I would have liked is a carrying bag of some sort. This chair comes just as is, but there is a carrying strap; just no case or bag. When I'm not traveling, I will definitely keep this in my car since it takes up very little space. Note: I've read reviews that said this seat is not comfortable for men since different body parts are smashed in certain areas lol. I asked my boyfriend to sit in it and he said "oh yeah, I can see how this would be uncomfortable after sitting in it for awhile". For me though (a female) I find the seat to be very comfortable for what this is.

As you can see in the picture, Felix approves... For $20, this can't be beat. It is lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. I've tried quite a few chairs for backpacking, and there are three truly worth considering: This travel Stool: $20 The REI Flex Lite: $65 Big Agnes Helinox Chair One: $100 All 3 options are approximately 2lbs. For hiking, I wanted something I could lounge in a bit more after a long hike, though, and opted for the Helinox. It is as comfortable as my couch. And I have a very comfortable couch. Not even exaggerating. This chair perfectly fills the "budget" space. For $20, you get a lightweight, comfortable stool. If you want back support and are willing to spend more money, the other options are fantastic. A fourth option is the Alite Monarch, which is barely over 1lb, but sits VERY low to the ground, and lounges too far back. You can't do camp cooking sitting in it, and it is rough on the knees getting up from it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stool. Yes, the seat is rather small; yes, the strap is too short. I bought a very comfortable padded camera strap here on Amazon in a matching color, which clipped right on and makes it perfect. I simply left the original gray strap on there. I am a little old lady and I can't stand up for too long; I use this to wait for the bus and it is a lifesaver. When I see the bus coming, I have time to fold the stool and fasten it shut with the Velcro and sling it over my shoulder, exactly in time to step onto the bus. The stool is small enough to not be in the way, either on the bus or walking. It is lightweight enough that I have no problem carrying it all over the place when I am shopping. It is a relief to have it when I am walking the half mile home with my rolling grocery cart, because there are no places to stop and sit if I get tired. The stool is still easy to carry even when I am wearing a backpack. When I am sitting waiting for a bus, other people at the stop wish they had one. Passersby have stopped and asked me about it! It catches people's attention and has initiated some great conversations with complete strangers. I tell them I got it on Amazon for under $20.

I bought two of these chairs for a recent trip to a convention, whose long waits in line were the norm. I'm approx 6'1-240lbs so not on the smaller side. I used this chair for 50 hours in a 72 hour span. While not the most comfortable chair ever made, for the amount of time I used it, I have to say this is a great design in its compact and storage versatility, and surprisingly comfortable. I now keep them in my car ready for any type of activity where sitting is preferable than standing. You can insert your own activity here. The size make this easy to grab when in doubt, and has often served as a life saver. Easily stored and low-profile. Almost no bigger or heavier than an umbrella. You will not complain taking it with you and will be rewarded by being rested and comfortable when you get up. If you carry a small inflatable pillow to sit on, you can really extend your comfort with this chair. Pros: Surprisingly sturdy but very light which means not thinking twice about taking it. The price is also very reasonable. Cons: Must be placed on sturdy footing or risk falling over. Can be said for any chair but the small footprint makes this more relevant. No back support means you will notice you don't have back support when you get up. Overall: This is a very affordable, surprisingly comfortable, and travel friendly chair, as such, I can recommend! I'm a guy in a household of women. Shopping is my pastime if I want to spend time with my girls. Most stores dont have any place a man can sit and contemplate the massive funds he's about to part with. Therefore I have to bring my own chair. This little stool is my go to shopping trip buddy. I can sit on it comfortably while my wife and daughters spend money like drunken sailors and when they've finally finished it folds up and goes with me to the next wallet slaughtering. It also doubles as a club to fend off the skinny little boys who like to follow along and gawk at my girls.
