Thịt bò thái miếng, ướp với hành tỏi băm nhuyễn và nước mắm.

Bông thiên lí rửa sạch. Bạn có thể trụng qua nước sôi rồi ngâm vào nước đá, để bông thiên lí được xanh.

Cho thịt bò vào xào đến tái rồi múc ra dĩa (vì thịt bò nấu lâu sẽ bị dai). Đổ bông thiên lí đã trụng vào chảo, xào đến khi chuyển màu xanh đậm, cho thịt bò vào. Nêm lai gia vị rồi tắt bếp.
